Maine Med - The Next 150

Together, we will create a facility with modern clinical spaces and private rooms to ensure that Maine Medical Center continues to be a first-rate, accessible hub of high-acuity services for patients.

The focus of our modernization is the construction of a 255,000 square foot tower with entry from Congress Street. The Malone Family Tower is to be the new heart of cardiovascular care at Maine Medical Center, bringing cardiac services together in one place. Features include:

5 floors of clinical services
64 private universal rooms
19 procedure rooms, including ORs, cath labs, space for vascular image guidance, and one hybrid OR that can easily adapt to different surgeries and levels of acuity and hybrid ORs that allow for advanced imaging within an operating room
New entrance to the medical center
